That's why they engaged H2O Shift to ensure a stable temperature and eliminate drafts in their 76,000 m² food warehouse – and saved up to a million Danish kroner annually on electricity.

Normal A/S is one of Denmark's largest and fastest-growing retail chains. In their new 76,000 m² food warehouse, which is 15 metres high, it was crucial to maintain an even temperature distribution – both for the working environment and to meet applicable limit values. To solve this, Normal A/S installed 72 HVLS fans. This cost up to one million DKK annually in electricity alone – and created a new problem: Many employees experienced bothersome drafts.
By replacing the 72 ventilators with H2O Shift's solution, Normal A/S has saved up to one million DKK in annual electricity costs while simultaneously creating a better indoor climate for employees.

THE PROBLEM, THE SOLUTION & THE RESULT
72 fans turned off – temperature under control
H2O Shift and Normal A/S jointly developed a solution based on Power2Air/Climate technology, dimensioned for the 15-metre-high warehouse. After a short test period, all 72 fans were turned off. The temperature difference between top and bottom stabilized at 0.5-1.5℃ – even on the hottest summer days – and complaints about drafts ceased.
In addition, Normal A/S saves up to 1 million DKK annually in electricity. Normal A/S has since installed an extended solution that can also handle limescale and bacteria in the company's domestic water, office ventilation, and kitchen exhaust – all without electricity, chemicals, or additives.
